Image Builders Scholarship

The NAIFA-Alabama Image Builders Scholarship created by the NAIFA–Alabama Board of Directors to provide a scholarship to an undergraduate student who demonstrates exceptional academic performance and/or significant financial need. Eligible students may not be receiving a full tuition scholarship or waiver from another source.

The Image Builders Scholarship is intended to help propel forward the values and interests of NAIFA-Alabama by establishing a socially responsible medium which exists solely to compliment NAIFA-Alabama in promoting and advancing the aims and ideals of the Association and its members.  NAIFA-Alabama is committed to protecting the integrity of the business of Insurance and the best interests of the citizens of Alabama. It is our desire to serve our constituents by becoming involved in improving the educational welfare of this great State. It is in this spirit, the Board of Directors of NAIFA-Alabama has established the Image Builders Scholarship.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The following are eligibility requirements for qualifying an applicant for the Scholarship:

1. Applicant must be resident of the State of Alabama.
2. Applicant must be a graduating senior from a High School in Alabama.
3. Applicant must be accepted in an accredited College or University.
4. Grade Point Average must be 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
5. Recipient will be chosen by the Scholarship Committee, Confirmed by the Board of Directors.
6. Application package must be received no later than the last Monday in February to be considered.
